FOLLOWING on from Causeway joining forces with the British and Irish Trading Alliance (BITA) last year, the business networking organisation is marking its first anniversary with an important step forward.
As of now, it will officially be known as BITA Causeway and that is not just a name change. It is a statement of intent.
“We are one organisation with one set of values,” Chair James Horton (above) said. “We retain the Causeway heritage that has always made this community what it is, while fully embracing the BITA ethos that drives everything we do. There is no one or the other. We are fully in this together.
“We will continue to pave the way for a future where businesses can seamlessly collaborate, innovate and grow. Because at the heart of everything we do are the three Cs: Collaboration, Communication and Connections. And today, we add a very well-deserved fourth. Congratulations. We are the people who know people that help people.”
Paul Whitnell, President of BITA, joined forces with the Causeway community last year. With Paul’s stewardship and deep international experience, and strategic insight, Causeway elevated its mission and expanded opportunities for members.
Paul’s appointment also strengthened the bond between Causeway and BITA, unlocking additional benefits for Causeway’s professional community, including:
—Broader Networks: Exclusive access to BITA’s UK and international connections.
—Global Opportunities: A growing global reach, including the US and Australia.
—Enhanced Resources: Premium tools, events, and insights tailored to growth.
Now, BITA Causeway, will be looking to grow and develop even more in the years to come.
